“Emergence of competing value chains: How competitors become partners and customers can become competitors”. Mr Sanjay Tiwari, Global Head of Sales for Maersk Trade Finance delivered his speech at Singapore Indian Chamber’s Networking event on 29th March 2017 at Concorde Hotel. He shared his experiences of how trade was conducted in the past. With the disruptions taking place everywhere, he painted how Maersk has re-designed itself by providing simple solutions to customers’ complex supply needs.
Singapore’s R&D team, A*Star, Mr Daniel Kuek, Head for Industry Development Group also presented new initiatives to enhance the competitiveness of local enterprises. Applicable to various business functions, A*Star offered ready-to-go technologies that can be easily adopted.
The evening also saw new members coming from various industries receiving their membership certificates.
