Previously, he was the President & Global Head of Finance of Olam International Limited (Group) fortune 500 company and SGD 50Billion turnover with 87,000 employees.
Venkat is a Fellow member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), Associate member of The Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India (ICMAI), Master of Commerce from Kerala University, India, competent Toast Master & certified NLP coach.
He has won Asia’s greatest CFO award, two consecutive times, awarded by the Asia One Magazine and won Excellence in Crisis Management Award from CFO Innovation Asia 2015.
Currently, he is also a Board member & Co Chairman of Finance committee of Management Development Institute of Singapore (MDIS) Governing Council, Treasurer of Securities Investors Association of Singapore, Chairman of the External Relations Committee of Singapore Indian Fine Arts Society (SIFAS) & Member of Audit, Risk & Compliance Committee of Singapore Institute of Directors (SID), mentor in Singapore Business Federation (SBF), Vice Chairman of the Indian Activity Executive Committee (IAEC) & Grassroots leader for about 20 years.
