Dato’ T Mogan is the founder and Chairman of Dragnet Smartech Security, since 1993, a leading security solutions provider in Singapore and South East Asia. He provides security consultancy, risk analysis and audit services. He has travelled Southeast Asia, providing seminar presentations on security and safety concerns.
Dato’ Mogan is also the founder of Merdeka Facility Management, since 2020, this is to provide several facility management services island wide.
Dato’ Mogan was elected as the President of Security Association Singapore (SAS) in 2007, holding the office for a decade and serves as senior advisor to its present committee. During his tenure, he has collaborated extensively with SPF, MOM, WSG, USE-NTUC to formulate policies and training to improve service excellence in the private security industry. He presently serves as a council member in SNEF bringing key insights and recommendations for business sustainability among SMEs in the security sector.
Dato’ Mogan is able to bridge SMEs with the government’s transformation intention for local businesses to provide internationalised service. A 30-year veteran in the private security sector, he has moderated several dialogues and seminars with various ministries to enhance good governance in local businesses. He acts as an ambassador to endorse agency led initiatives that aid SMEs to corporatize and globalise their businesses.
Some of his accolades include, the Lifetime Achievement Award from SAS (2017), Long Service Award from National Council of Social Services (2016), and appreciation from Security Industry Skills and Training Council for his valuable contribution (2010).
